Oregon: Two ALF Raids

from Bite Back

Some small actions:

January 2012: 6 hens were removed from an intensive egg farm located in the Willamette Valley of Oregon.

February 2012: 3 chickens were rescued and re-homed from a broiler farm in Washington state.

Escaping the horrors of the factory farm, these individuals will live out the remainder of their lives in freedom in open fields.

Solidarity with non-cooperating green scare prisoners and those on the run.

Every life counts,

ALF

Seattle, WA: Communique for attack on Umpqua Bank branch

from pugetsoundanarchists:

The Ravenna branch of the eco-insidiuous Umpqua Bank lost sleep last night when rocks shattered their large external windows. This action stands in solidarity with non-cooperating green scare and anarchist prisoners. As we know, it’s easy to attack.

For wrath, for ruin,

Portland, OR: Communique for attack on Chase Bank branch

from Portland Indymedia:

During the final hour of April Fool’s Day, a small group busted all of the front windows out of a Chase bank in the Woodstock area. We want to make it clear we do not glamorize or romanticize our actions over anyone else’s actions. Nevertheless, we encourage other people to make visible the conflict with capitalism in whatever manner they see fit.

Manifesting a clear conflict that is not constrained to legal methods is important and necessary for not letting the anti-capitalist sentiment subside in Portland. We applaud all of the actions that have happened against banks, especially the actions prior to February 29.

We send our greetings to the comrades in the SF Commune, our comrades in Barcelona, and every one who is stuck in prison.

ALL OUT FOR MAY DAY

Berkeley, Ca: Attack on the snitches at the Tang Center

From Indybay.org:

Early Monday, March 19th we attacked the University Health Services at the Tang Center on the UC-Berkeley campus. We targeted the Tang Center because it has recently been made public that so-called ‘care givers’ at the center turned over medical reports about several comrades who went there for treatment. These individuals went to the center for help after being beaten by University police during an Occupy demonstration on Nov 9th.

We glued the locks on ten doors, smashed several windows, and re-decorated the building with a few anti-snitching slogans.

This snitch institution operates under the pretense of helping people, and yet rats them out to the exact same people who assault them and put them in cages. This comes as no surprise. The health system offered to us by the state and capitalism only serves the interests of its masters: profit and control.

While we smashed and glued, we were thinking of comrades in St. Louis who were simultaneously arrested and hospitalized over the weekend by SLPD. Also in our thoughts, Tortuga in Chile, whose hospital room has also been his jail cell. We must also mention Justin Solondz, sentenced to seven years because of the testimony of rat snitches of the Green Scare. It is obvious that the State’s health institutions function like a prison or like a border wall, locking some inside while locking many more out.

SNITCHES WATCH OUT: THIS IS JUST A WARNING!
IT WILL BE WORSE FOR THE NEXT SNITCH(ES) TO BE OUTED!

FUCK THE TANG CENTER, UCPD, OPD, SFPD, SLPD, … fuck it, all of ’em.

STRENGTH AND LOVE TO THE N9 DEFENDANTS AND ALL OCCUPY PRISONERS!

Scio, Or: ALF Raid on Pheasant Breeder

from Bite Back

Last night, the night of March 14th, we infiltrated the property of Queener Ridge Pheasant Company (40485 Queener Drive, Scio, OR) which breeds ringneck pheasants primarily to be murdered in commercial canned hunts. After jumping a barbed wire fence, we made our way to the main breeding facility where we dismantled a huge section of an aviary that held between 75-150 pheasants; liberating them into the night sky. Although the number of animals freed represented only a tiny fraction of the thousands more still held captive on this farm, we feel that every life saved–no matter how few–is a victory.

Ringneck pheasants are a naturalized species to this region and are specifically bred to retain their wild characteristics and instincts, so we have no doubt that these animals can survive in the wild upon
release. Otherwise doomed to a life of confinement and brutality these sentient animals now have a fighting chance at survival.

For an industry whose only purpose is the infliction of violence against sentient animals for entertainment and pleasure, the only ethical choice we can make is to set your animals free.

Against all domination,
–Animal Liberation Front

San Francisco, Ca: Greek Consulate Attacked

reposted from anarchist news

On the evening of March 8th we attacked the Greek Consulate General on Gough Street in the city of San Francisco. We painted the phrase ‘LONG LIVE ANARCHY’ on the street-facing garage doors and cracked the front windows with rocks. The windows were heavily reinforced, owing no doubt to the paranoia and fear the Greek state feels in every direction and in every country.

With this action we send our greeting and encouragment to our comrades in Greece. We also want to encourage more focused attacks in the USA against specific targets.

To all of the fighter in all of the Greek cities, never stop, we will always be with you, however far away. We are all together, however minimal our actions. Keep struggling, never forget your comrades are everywhere. Good luck to everyone in the coming months and strength to the comrades locked up in prison.

Portland, OR: Attacks on three banks and a Starbucks

from Portland Indymedia:

About an hour and a half ago (around ten pm, Tuesday night) a group of anticapitalists rolled up on the US Bank at SE 39th and Main and smashed out its windows and ATMs.
This was done in preparation for February 29th’s Shut Down The Corporations Day. We chose a bank because banks have upheld the sanctity of capitalism, making it possible for a few people to accrue copious amounts of wealth. This was also for the role the banks have played in the current financial crisis and the level of environmental destruction they have supported. These banks are responsible for throwing poor and oppressed people the world over under the bus of extreme poverty and destitution. They did this all to keep the pockets of a few rich CEOs lined with extravagant bonuses, and it’s time we started taking from those pockets.

We also did this to remind #Occupy to keep its horizons open. Rather than resort to the gory analogy about cats, we prefer to say they’re more than one way to shut down a corporation. Parades through the city may be able to accomplish this task on occasion, but at the end of the day there’s really no replacement for a few dozen folks in masks with rocks. We don’t know whether this will be taken as solidarity or antagonism by the core of Occupy, but frankly that isn’t worth dwelling on for us. You said you wanted to help shut down corporations, and we helped to do that in our own way. Take it or leave it, we’re going to keep doing it.

Good night, Occupy, and good luck tomorrow.

from anews:

Sounds like our comrades had a joyous little romp around the US bank on 39th. At about 1:30 this morning, inspired by their shenanigans we high-tailed it over to 38th and Broadway where a Key Bank was just sitting there, all windows intact, just waiting to be fucked up.

So we destroyed the windows and doors and ATM. Then we had some rocks left over so we fucked up the Starbucks across the street for old times’ sake.

Wherever capital chooses for its bunker, we will be there to attack it in the night.

For freedom, for equality, for anarchy.

Olympia, WA: Communique for attack on a bank

reposted from Puget Sound Anarchists

Last night we smashed up a bank and an attached ATM. This was a disruption of the banality of our everyday lives and a small attack on the institutions that attempt to dominate us, in which money plays a vital role. This attack was carried out in memory of V-Day 2008 and in solidarity with those facing charges in Oakland and prisoners everywhere.

San Diego, CA: Banner Drop

reposted from: anarchist news

Good Morning po-po, We left you some love notes.
Likely you saw them on your morning commute from your neighborhood to ours. We don’t want you here.

We know that you have PTSD from the Iraq War, but we were thinking that rather than beating Occupiers and paraplegics, racking up rape charges, and guarding dumpsters, you could take a leave and get some therapy. Or, better yet, quit. We’re speaking to you, officer zirpolo, officer koerber, and the rest of SDPD. Also, stop fucking with the homeless.

Much love to people holding it down in cities occupied by pigs.

U.S. out of Oakland,

-Some@s
